1 Question : Why rent your property with Space and Place?

Answer : We are aware of the market rentals and will guide you accordingly. We constantly update our list of potential tenants. When you instruct our team we try to match the property with potential tenants before we advertise thereby reducing the letting time.

2 Question : Are Space and Place valuations accepted by the banks?

Answer : Most banks in Botswana do accept our valuations, however, the customer has a right legally to appoint their own valuer.

3 Question : Why sell with Space and Place?

Answer : We have a database of potential buyers, and might therefore know your buyer already. Our sales team will partner with you and achieve your special unique goal of selling your property at the right price within the shortest possible time.

4 Question : Why should you give Space and Place Sole Mandate?

Answer : We will give a no obligation valuation certificate for your property to guide you on the selling price. 6 Question : What do I need a valuation for?

Answer : Valuations are used for loan, buying, selling, tax, insurance, accounting or just financial planning purposes.

7 Question : What is the difference between Market Valuation and Insurance Valuation?

Answer : Market value is the estimated amount for which a property should exchange on the date of valuation between a willing buyer and a willing seller in an arm’s-length transaction after proper marketing wherein the parties had each acted knowledgeably, prudently and without compulsion. Building Insurance Value is the cost of replacing the structure plus professional fees and provisional expenses which exclude the cost land.
